WELCOME TO TOFTAHILL!

We are Lena and Jan Eriksson and we live in Glostorp. A small village just outside Malmo in the south of Sweden.

Our farm is called Toftahill, so it was a natural choice of name for our Kennel. Here our dogs have a lot of space, 3000 squaremeters enclosure, to run around as they wish.

Apart from the dogs we also have three cats and two horses living here.

TOFTAHILL

Our first Border Terrier was a real stroke of luck! We were lucky to get in touch with Ulrika Berge, Kennel Sub Terram, and she had a male puppy for us - Sub Terram Sevärt - Eddie! (Sevärt in swedish means "worth seeing").
Since we live out in the country, we wanted a little dog companion when we where in the stable with our horses or when we where at work at our own company. We had no thoughts about shows, breeding or anything like that, but after the first show with Eddie I was hooked! Then the thought of a bigger engagement in the breed began.

Our dogs are familymembers. They all live with us and share both TV-sofa and bed! Lena is a member of a huntingteam as beater (driver) so our dogs hunt. Mostly deer and wild boar.

Our goal with our breeding is to try to contribute with dogs that has the exterior, mentality and working abilities of the Border Terrier according to the standard. We hope that future "Toftahill-Borders" will do well for showing, hunting, agility or whatever you like to do with your dog.

We also have a couple of horses in our stable. We had our own horse, Pollux, until the beginning of 2010, when we had to make the hard decision and let him go. He was 34 years old! We miss him a lot!

We also have three cats. Lissie, born 2001. Lissie had a litter in 2003 and two of the kittens stayed with us. Hobbe and Randi.
These two has grown up with the dogs and sometimes behaves more like dogs than cats!
